Hyponatraemia and Moduretic-grand mal seizures: a review.

摘要: Three cases are presented which emphasize the importance of hyponatraemia as a cause grand mal seizures. The combination hydrochlorothiazide and amiloride appears to increase risk hyponatraemia. We discuss aetiology treatment review necessity for such therapy. recommend caution in prescribing diuretics preparations Moduretic should be used only those few patients shown need potassium supplementation.
