Glutathione monoalkyl ester sulfates and process for their production

摘要: Sulfates of glutathione monoalkyl esters ( alkyl y -L-giutamyl-L-cysteinylglycinates ) are new and can be prepared by reaction with an alcohol in the presence sulfuric acid. This process forms virtually no diesters, which toxic compounds must completely removed when sulfates used as medicine. In addition, since pure monoester isolated from mixture, high-purity free monoesters, have importance therapeutical preventive medicines, obtained treatment a neutralizer or mere desalting.
