摘要: Pathogen timetrees are phylogenies scaled to time. They reveal the temporal history of a disease spread through populations as captured in evolutionary strains. These inferred by using molecular sequences pathogenic strains sampled at different times. That is, these data sets contain temporally that enable inference sequence divergence Here, we present new approach (RelTime with dated tips [RTDT]) estimating pathogen based on relative rate framework underlying RelTime approach. RTDT does not require many priors demanded Bayesian approaches, nor it have large run time needs. We found be accurate for simulated datasets evolved under variety branch rates models. Interestingly, two non-Bayesian methods (RTDT and Least Squares Dating [LSD]) perform similar or better than approaches available BEAST MCMCTree programs. method was generally outperform all other which were autocorrelated.
