摘要: As various inertial measurement units (IMUs) from different manufacturers appear every year, it is not affordable to evaluate IMU through tests. Therefore, this paper presents an evaluation method by grafting data the tested reference a higher-grade IMU. The signal (SG) has several benefits: (a) only one set of field tests with needed, and can be used numerous IMUs. Thus, SG effective economic because all collected in lab; (b) general approach compare navigation performances IMUs using same data; and, finally, (c) SG, first lab, then decide whether further test it. Moreover, verified validity both medium- low-grade IMUs, compared two strategies, i.e., basic-error strategy full-error strategy. provided results similar tests, difference under 5% 19.4%–26.7% for tactical-grade MEMS Meanwhile, was found that dynamic errors were essential guarantee effect method.
