摘要: The concept of mechano-electrical feedback was derived from the observation that a short stretch applied to beating heart can invoke an electrical response in form afterdepolarization or premature ventricular beat. More recent work has identified stretch-activated channels whose specific inhibition might help treat atrial fibrillation near future. But interaction between and mechanical function is continuum short-term (within milliseconds) long-term weeks months) effects. effects pressure overload have been well-described on molecular cellular level, substances interact with these processes are used clinical routine care patients cardiac hypertrophy failure. These treatments prevent lethal arrhythmias (sudden death) potentially fibrillation. intermediate less well-understood. Several recently regulatory mechanisms may provide novel antiarrhythmic targets associated "intermediate" myocardium stretch.
