摘要: An automated spectrophotometric method based on an HPLC system with a diode array detector was used to determine the pK values of compounds low water solubility in universal buffer containing acetonitrile as cosolvent. The column replaced capillary connecting injection and detector. Specific solvent effects were corrected for using dielectric constants mixed pure water. tested 4-hydroxybenzoic acid results compared those obtained spectrophotometer. Linear regression lines different slopes from measurements cosolvent–water mixtures. These shown depend upon polarity solventwater mixture, they explained by solvatochromic behavior solvent–water mixture.
