摘要: A method is described for determining the cytotoxicity of normal and autologous lymphocytes 51Cr-labeled isolated parenchymal liver cells in a low aggressor to target cell ratio. Results were compared from patients with chronic active disease (CALD), persistent hepatitis (CPH), miscellaneous diseases, or primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC). In 53% CALD patients, showed greater hepatic than did allogenic lymphocytes, but 32% there was significantly less 51Cr release normal; remainder, results range. Lymphocyte short duration those treated corticosteroids. untreated CALD, decreased associated presence plasma factor(s) inhibiting phytohemagglutinin (PHA)-induced transformation lymphocytes. Lymphocytes approximately 50% PBC exhibited 25% controls remaining had also during earlier stage PBC. contrast not PHA-induced Our findings support hypothesis vivo lymphocyte-mediated damage PBC, suggesting potentially important role lymphocyte suppression pathogenesis both diseases.
