摘要: We have mapped a transcriptional regulatory sequence within the 1.0 kb noncoding region of bovine papilloma virus (BPV-1) genome, using an enhancer dependent expression vector for chloramphenicol acetyltransferase. This element works independently position and orientation, its function is significantly augmented in BPV-1 transformed C127 cells monkey CV-1 acutely transfected with plasmids expressing early gene products. Using defined deletion mutants DNA full-length viral cDNAs expressed from SV40 promoter, we demonstrate that this trans-activating factor maps to 3' open reading frames transforming region. A premature termination codon engineered into E2 ORF eliminates diffusible transactivation establishing product as factor.
