摘要: The DNA sequences of the genomes bovine type 1 and human 1a papillomaviruses were compared. overall organization both is very similar. Three areas maximal homology found in L1 E1/E2 genes, at beginning L2. conservation homologous amino acid encoded open reading frames argues that these segments represent real genes or exons. Within segments, however, only certain domains putative proteins are preferentially conserved. Two polypeptide chains show arrangement cysteine residue clusters Cys-X-X-Cys, despite a lack rest sequence. A significant sequence divergence region where three suggests papillomavirus have evolved not solely by accumulation point mutations. Conserved also noncoding region, their possible involvement regulation viral gene expression discussed.
