摘要: Abstract The electrochemical behaviors of Ta in Et 4 NBr ethanol solutions were investigated using potentiodynamic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, potentiostatic current–time transient and impedance techniques. anodic polarization curves did not exhibit active dissolution region due to the presence thin oxide film on electrode surface, which was followed by pitting corrosion as a result passivity breakdown aggressive attack Br − anions. potential ( E b ) decreased with increase solution temperature concentration, but increased increasing scan rate water concentration. incubation time derived from transients potentials. spectra exhibited two constants for all potentials resistance passive layer potential.
