摘要: Abstract The fractionated crystallization behavior of POM in immiscible POM/(PS/PPE) blends has been investigated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and correlated to the blend phase morphology. By varying PS/PPE composition, homogeneous amorphous phases with different glass transition temperatures, between 100 ( T g,PS ) 215°C g,PPE ), melt-viscosities were obtained, without altering interfacial tension system. As such, a model system created which allows investigate both influence morphology physical state matrix, on minor phase. difference low viscosity/low viscosity viscosity/high systems respect development during melt-mixing is reflected various aspects behavior. onset composition can be related center inversion region for all systems. Within same type, extent (i.e. number droplets per volume unit dispersed phase). However, comparing types reveals that other factors, such as matrix phase, also play role. Further, multiple peaks observed have width particle size distribution
