摘要: [1] There has been much discussion as to the veracity of neutral wind measurements made using medium-frequency radar (MFR) employing spaced-antenna technique. Such systems are able operate continuously, providing information on mesosphere and lower thermosphere dynamics with typical resolutions 3 km in altitude 5 min time, thus represent a low-cost monitoring atmosphere. It is similarly important be trust results, therefore we make dedicated comparison between Tromso MFR (70°N, 19°E) newly installed colocated Nippon/Norway meteor radar. The agreement particularly good 75 85 km.
