摘要: Permanent male sterilization has been recognized as useful tools for the development of neuter experimental animals and fattening livestock, well efficient control pet overpopulation. Traditional routes such surgical ways, chemical injections, anti-fertility vaccines have addressed these crucial problems with idea outcomes. However, usually bring out serious pain infection towards animals, induce long-term adverse reaction immune suppression. Thus, a convenient, but non-surgical strategy under mild manner is highly desirable. Here, first time, we demonstrate novel platform by using single-layer WO2.72 nanosheets smart photo-responsive sterilants. Upon 980 nm irradiation, nanoagents can possess intrinsic NIR-induced hyperthermia sensitize formation singlet oxygen due to cooperation photothermal photodynamic effects. Mechanism cellular injury be attributed denaturation protein apoptosis-related death. Moreover, toxicity possible metabolism route after testicular injection are discussed, indicating neglectable systemic high bio-compatibility our nanoagents. Overall, extremely overcome shortcomings in various routine suggest new biological application nanomaterials.
