摘要: In this paper, we address the architecture and procedures that can enable voice call handover from UMTS to WLAN also study how efficiently support calls transferred UMTS. Our is based on a practical simulation model lets us quantify maximum number of be handed over WLAN, subject maintaining same level QoS respecting some policies. addition, several other performance metrics are derived. results indicate an IEEE 802.11e access point limited UMTS, which depends primarily applied bandwidth sharing policy (i.e., shared between data users) requirements. The scheduling algorithm paramount importance in our consider so-called ARROW scheduler. Although derived for specific policy, they readily scaled provide upper bounds seamlessly admitted point.
