摘要: CD4+ T cell recognition of the simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) surface envelope (env) glycoprotein was examined by using a panel 10 lines and 4 clones derived from individual macaques immunized with inactivated SIV or recombinant env proteins. The results demonstrated that cells each animal recognized between 1 7 peptides in distinct regions protein including both variable conserved domains. MLR PBMC selected together RFLP analysis HLA DR beta probes suggested animals MHC class II haplotypes can recognize identical peptides. These epitopes within protein, identified linear B neutralizing antibodies, may be relevant vaccine design.
