摘要: Abstract We conducted two field studies using a behavioral consultation approach to reduce children's problem behaviors in public school settings. The first study consisted of descriptive analysis which the students and their teachers were observed during naturally occurring classroom activities. results provided hypotheses regarding operant function students' behaviors. tested second experiment directly through modified experimental indirectly an evaluation treatment effects. interventions designed disrupt inappropriate response-reinforcer relation by discontinuing contingent reinforcement (i.e., extinction), providing reinforcer on appropriate play behaviors, teaching verbal skills functionally equivalent response. trained implement conduct analyses activities occurred most frequently. effective decreasing while concurrently increasing skills.
