X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism of Ferromagnetic Semiconductor Ge1−xMnxTe

摘要: We have investigated 3d electronic and magnetic states of the Mn ion in IV–VI diluted semiconductor Ge1−xMnxTe using soft x‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) circular dichroism (XMCD). The rich structure XAS XMCD spectra suggests that has highly localized state. intensity is good agreement with spontaneous magnetization sample. contribution spin orbital angular momenta to moment examined sum rules.
