摘要: Lateral neck node metastasis is an important prognostic factor in thyroid carcinoma. We developed a scoring system for use prediction of lateral from papillary cancer. In this study, 161 consecutive patients were included the training data set. This system, named Yonsei Estimated Value (YEV) lymph cancer, was on basis results multivariate logistic regression analysis preoperative clinical and radiologic data. Sixty eight testing validity system. The equation follows:YEV (Yonsei Value) = 1/(1+X)X Exp (5.333-[0.902 × sex]+[0.036 age]-[1.020 tumor size]-[0.177 size]-[0.032 density])When YEV 0.3 or more, probability 79.0%, with sensitivity 76.3%, specificity 69.8%, positive predictive value 56.7%, negative 85.1% When fine needle aspiration biopsy suspicious nodes not possible, are inadequate, our can be helpful optimization surgical extent each patient.
