摘要: The Japanese geological disposal programme for radioactive waste is based on a volunteering approach to siting, which places particular emphasis the need public acceptance. This, as established in law, emphasises development of repository project partnership with local communities and involves stakeholders important decisions associated key milestones selection sites subsequent construction, operation, closure. To date, however, concept has proceeded more traditional manner, focusing particularly ease developing post-closure safety case.
