摘要: Aside from their use in the treatment of anxiety disorders and insomnia, benzodiazepines other GABAA receptor positive modulators are widely used as add-on treatments schizophrenic non-schizophrenic psychoses. However, there is relatively little direct clinical or pre-clinical evidence for antipsychotic effects GABAergic medications. Previous studies have indicated that zolpidem, a drug acting preferentially at α1-containing receptors, may produce catalepsy through interactions with dopaminergic neurotransmission. The aim present study was to investigate zolpidem experimental models activity extrapyramidal side Wistar rats. Effects were compared classic benzodiazepine drug, diazepam second-generation medication, risperidone. High doses risperidone (10.0mg/kg, i.p.) i.p.), but not diazepam, induced short-lasting cataleptic responses bar test. Zolpidem risperidone, produced some antipsychotic-like doses, which no did inhibit spontaneous locomotor apomorphine-induced stereotypies. results tend indicate exerts neuroleptic-like do motor effects. Our findings provide further rationale development new subtype-selective psychotic symptoms.
