摘要: Atmospheric aerosol optical thickness (AOT) was retrieved over urban areas using moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer (MODIS) 500-m calibrated radiance data. A modifi ed Bremen Aerosol Retrieval (BAER) algorithm used to retrieve AOT Seoul, Korea. Since the surface refl ectance of an area is typically brighter than that vegetation or soil in visible wavelength region, error associated with retrieval higher. Surface determination linear mixing model (LMM) produced values were smaller (∼0.02) those obtained minimum technique (MRT). This difference would lead overestimated when LMM approach. Retrieved data MRT and standard MODIS 10-km products (MOD04) compared Rotating Shadow-band Radiometer (RSR) observations at Yonsei University, Regression analysis showed root mean square (RMSE) MOD04 0.05 both cases. In addition, ground-based particulate matter (PM10) from air quality monitoring networks National Institute Environmental Research (NIER). a relatively low correlation (r = 0.41) PM10 mass concentration due differences column-averaged data, variability terrain, cloud mask. result similar other investigations. The application fisatellite supports feasibility local urban-scale monitoring.
