摘要: This review summarizes recent published literature on the association between serum uric acid and cardiovascular disease, a relationship which is complex not fully elucidated. Uric may be marker for risk, causative agent in or both. Various biologic factors can influence levels, level itself closely related to conditions such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, impaired glucose metabolism, that contribute disease pathophysiology. Serum levels have been found associated with adverse outcomes, including mortality, general population. In addition, increased risk incident coronary heart failure, atrial fibrillation. setting of established systolic positively severity mortality risk. Whether targeting treatment based might affect clinical outcomes still being studied.
