摘要: This study examines Florida Keys snorkeler and SCUBA diver encounter norms using the Potential for Conflict Index2 (PCI2). Snorkelers divers evaluated acceptability of encountering a specific number other snorkelers on 7-point scale ranging from extremely acceptable (3) to unacceptable (-3). Statistical analysis results were put into PCI2 templates construct graphic display each recreation group. According both divers, as encounters increase, evaluations decrease. In addition, starts decline at an level 5, not 0, which may be function safety. All recreationists consider large more than same possibly due their location in water column.
