摘要: Since the beginning of synchronised pacing there must have been problem irritation sensing mechanism by electromagnetic interference (EMI). That it was not detected earlier than 19681 may be explained in several ways: 1. The number patients with atrial ventricular pacemakers (VAT) very limited during that decade (1961–1969). If at all, type caused pacemaker to speed up its rate 120 ppm, which probably noticed every wearer. 2. Though first demand inhibited (VVI) sensitive, and without any interference-detecting protecting means2, few (mostly elderly sick) were seldom exposed EMI, except a sources their domestic environment, they learned live. 3. The EMI far fewer today; devices also less powerful.
