摘要: A Neurospora crassa cytoplasmic ribosomal protein gene, crp-5, has been isolated and characterized. The cDNA was by a differential screening of library for glucose-inducible genes. subsequently used to identify isolate crp-5 genomic sequences. Computer analysis the DNA sequences showed that they contain an open reading frame which encodes homologous rat S26. mRNA levels are regulated in carbon-source-dependent manner. organization gene region upstream coding discussed.
