摘要: Failure-dependent testing implies a test of redundant components (or trains) when the failure one component has been detected. The purpose such is to detect any common-cause failures (CCFs) multiple so that corrective action, as repair or plant shutdown, can be taken reduce residence time failures. This type focuses on reducing conditional risk CCFs. Formulas are developed for calculating probability two-train system with different test, repair, and shutdown strategies. A methodology presented, an example calculation, showing effectiveness failure-dependent strategies emergency diesel generators in nuclear power plants. Four alternative actions after identification analyzed : (a) not carrying out additional testing, (b) shutting down if CCF present, (c) failed given (less than allowed outage time), (d) component.
