摘要: Morphological brain changes as a consequence of new learning have been widely established. Learning second language (L2) is one such experience that can lead to rapid structural neural changes. However, still relatively little known about how levels proficiency in the L2 and age at which learned influence neuroplasticity. The goal this study provide novel evidence for effect bilingualism on white matter structure proficient but late learners who acquired after early childhood. Overall, results demonstrate significant fractional anisotropy (FA) function learning. Higher FA values were found broad network including anterior thalamic radiation (ATR), inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus (IFOF), Uncinate Fasciculus (UF), longitudinal (ILF). Moreover, correlated with acquisition, suggesting an L2, even past childhood, induces Finally, these some initial variability acquisition has important consequences plasticity.
