摘要: This study aimed to estimate the reliability of 3-D trunk surface measurements for characterization external asymmetry associated with scoliosis. Repeated acquisitions using Inspeck system (Inspeck Inc., Montreal, Canada), two different postures A (anatomical position) and B (‘‘clavicle’’ position), were obtained from patients attending a scoliosis clinic. For each acquisition, model patient’s was built series computed. measure posture, intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) bivariate analysis variance, smallest detectable difference calculated. posture A, fair excellent ICC 0.91 0.99 (0.85 lower bound 95% confidence interval). B, 0.85 0.98 (0.74 The statistically significant differences maximal back rotation 2.5 1.5° rotation. Apparent global axial indices relatively robust changes in arm both terms mean values within-subject variations, also showed good reliability. Computing cross-sectional enabled reduction errors compared based on markers’ position. Although not yet sensitive enough detect small monitoring curve natural progression, can help document types spinal curves as well cosmetic improvement after surgical interventions. anatomical is slightly more reliable it allows better coverage by digitizing system.
