摘要: One of the key requirements for diagnosis pulmonary tuberculosis is identification M. in tissue. In this paper, we present advantages specific fluorescent antibody labelling, combined with laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM), detection histological specimens lung tissues. We demonstrate that application LSCM allows: (i) The automatic acquisition images whole slice and, hence, determination regions subsequent analysis; (ii) thick (20–40 μm) slices at high resolution; (iii) single bacteria identification; and (iv) 3D reconstruction, order to obtain additional information about distribution, size, morphology solitary tuberculosis; as well their aggregates colonies, various inflammation. allows discrimination non-specific fluorescence bacteria-like particles presented samples, from labelled tuberculosis, using spectrum emission analysis. applied method was effective samples weak Ziehl–Neelsen staining. Altogether, combining immunofluorescent labelling visualization significantly increases effectiveness detection.
