摘要: Cocoa polyphenols (CPs) have been shown to exhibit hypolipidaemic actions, suggesting that CPs offer great potential for ameliorating lipid abnormalities. However, the conceivable molecular mechanisms underlying pharmacological activity of in obesity-induced liver steatosis yet be an investigated. This study analysed hepatic genome-wide expression patterns high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obese rats using DNA microarray. Rats were fed either a low fat (LFD) or high (HFD) 12 weeks. After supplementation, HFD (n = 10/group) treated with 600 mg/kg bw/day (HFD + CPs) 4 As result, compared group, CP treatment significantly lowered and attenuated increases body weight as well visceral accumulation group. microarray analysis resulted differential 862 genes 12,282 expressed liver. The selected validated real-time-PCR. Metabolic pathway via bioinformatic tools showed catabolism, primarily fatty acid oxidation, up-regulated whereas synthesis pathways down-regulated. Together, these findings provide novel insight into possible behind actions on management markers diet-induced obesity.
