摘要: Malaria is a principal cause of illness and death in countries where the disease endemic. Personal protection against mosquitoes using repellents could be useful method that can reduce and/or prevent transmission mosquito-borne diseases. The available repellent products, such as creams, roll-ons, sprays for personal mosquitoes, lack adequate long-term efficacy. In most cases, they need to re-applied or replaced frequently. encapsulation release from several matrices has risen an alternative process development invention based systems. present work reviews various studies about use controlled-release formulations polymer microcapsules, microporous formulations, micelles, nanoemulsions, solid-lipid nanoparticles, liposomes cyclodextrins new tools malaria control outdoor environment. Furthermore, investigation on mathematical modelling used rate discussed depth by exploring Higuchi, Korsmeyer-Peppas, Weibull models, well recently developed Mapossa model. Therefore, searched suggest final based-product should not only effective mosquito vectors parasites, but also biting frequency other transmitting diseases, dengue fever, chikungunya, yellow fever Zika virus. this way, will contribute improvement overall public health social well-being.
