Fabrication and characterization of Fe3O4@APTES@PAMAM-Ag highly active and recyclable magnetic nanocatalyst: Catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol

摘要: Abstract The surface of amine-fuctionalized magnetic nanoparticle was coated with polyamidoamine dendrimer via alkylation amine groups methyl acrylate (Micheal addition route). Then silver nanoparticles were doped between the layers branches. as-prepared nanocomposite is composed a central magnetite core strong response to external fields, an interlayer SiO 2 , (G1) and numerous highly dispersed Ag narrow size distribution. crystallite from XRD (9  ± 2 nm) particle TEM analysis (11.6 ± 0.2 nm) are consistent each other. catalytic activity tested against 4-nitrophenol. It has well separability excellent reusability without major loss (it can be conveniently recycled reaction system by using magnet) no deactivation been observed after at least 5 cycles reaction.
