摘要: An experimental investigation was conducted on the crack growth behavior of a pressure vessel steel, 16MnR, in ambient air. Standard compact tension specimens were subjected to Mode I loading with several R-ratios and amplitudes. Three circular notch sizes ranging from very sharp blunt used. In addition constant amplitude loading, experiments study influences overload sequence growth. The results show that R-ratio has an insignificant influence material. size together great early notch. A single tensile during experiment retards significantly. Right after application overload, rate is higher than stable observed loading. decreases reaches minimum value before it gradually increases curve. high-low maximum load second step lower first step, preceding significant retardation step.
