摘要: Abstract In this study, saturated flow boiling characteristics of deionized water in parallel microchannels are investigated experimentally. The silicone microchannel heat sink consists 29 square having hydraulic diameters 150 µm. Experiments have been conducted for four different values the mass flux consisting 51, 64.5, 78 and 92.6 kg/m 2 s from 59.3 to 84.1 kW/m . Inlet temperature is kept at 50 ± 1 °C. Heat transfer pressure drop examined varying governing parameters. Simultaneous high-speed video images taken as well measurements. visualization results lead key findings instabilities underlying physical mechanisms microchannels. Quasi-periodical rewetting drying, rapid bubble growth elongation toward both upstream downstream channels reverse observed
