摘要: In the management of Type IIIb injuries, Gustilo's classification has disadvantages a poor intra and inter-observer agreement rate, low specificity sensitivity to salvage inability predict functional outcomes. We propose here validated score which assesses severity injury covering structures, skeletal structures tissues injured limb separately along with providing weightage presence co-morbid factors. A high for amputation was documented when 14 used as threshold score. salvaged limbs, found offer guidelines in protocols reconstruction.
