摘要: Abstract Rutile SnO 2 nanocrystals have been synthesized by sonochemical and hydrothermal methods. Sonochemically obtained crystals possess compressive strain hydrothermally prepared tensile strain. Polyethylene glycol 20,000 provides spherical shape to the particles in synthesis but fails give finite synthesis. The direct band gap of sonochemically is much larger than that one. However, indirect gaps oxides do not differ significantly. photoluminescence spectra both are similar. solid state complex impedance different; while former displays a depressed semicircular arc latter shows linear relationship between Z″ Z′. Hydrothermally more photocatalytic . two their bactericidal activities.
