摘要: Aim: The aim of this systematic review was to investigate the in vitro antibacterial effect sodium hypochlorite gel on Enterococcus faecalis during root canal treatment. Methods: An electronic databases (PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, CENTRAL, Health Advance) performed (last updated 1st April 2019). reference lists included studies were hand-searched. Randomized that compared solution as a irrigant included. No limitation publication date. Results: Out 20741 articles, only two with 116 human teeth review. showed 50% high risk bias, and medium bias for studies. Both had some bacterial growth inhibition over E. faecalis. heterogeneity methodology lack evidence led contradictory results. However, better enhancing according robust study. Conclusion: There is insufficient reliable about enterococcus Although study revealed less efficient than irrigant, further are needed consider most effective type, concentration, duration treatment protocols hypochlorite.
