摘要: The coupled-mode equation in dissipative waveguides Cherenkov configuration has been detailedly discussed for the first time, to our knowledge. Based on this equation, second harmonic generation (SHG) and nonlinear phase shift (NPS) caused by cascading order (CSON) effects have analyzed optimized comprehensively systematically an analytical method, taking into account both conversion depletion waveguide loss, expressions SHG NPS presented. dependence of efficiency varied parameters, such as thickness, fundamental wavelength, input power temperature, completely. results show that a large enough (>10π) can be attained nondissipative with very small power, at same CSON some advantages over quasi-phase matching configuration, e.g., much looser tolerances parameters noncollinear feature wave wave, these characteristics make promising direction realize all-optical devices.
