摘要: Abstract The contact between two bilayer membranes results in their monolayer fusion comprising the formation of a trilaminar structure (a single connected to bilayers over whole perimeter) region. time required for was measured and irreversible electrical breakdown studied different compositions. A theoretical model is suggested explain results. It assumes that structural reorganization underlying process involves stalk as result local bending interacting monolayers. This similar hydrophilic pore under breakdown. However, directions are processes and, therefore, energies depend oppositely on effective shape lipid molecules.
