摘要: Lung Volume Reduction Surgery (LVRS) has become a palliative treatment for patients with advanced emphysema and disabling dyspnea. After single lung transplantation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, LVRS may be indicated to improve graft dysfunction caused by native hyperinflation compressing the grafted lung. This common complication is subject of our study, which showed helpful manage this situation. We performed an observational retrospective descriptive study using data 293 transplanted center between January 1996 October 2011. Some who underwent developed years after transplantation, interfering respiratory function due compression.
