Red Eye Syndrome: Clinical and Experimental Experience in a New Aspect of Diffuse Eosinophilic Infiltration?

摘要: : Twenty-two of 24 hemodialysis patients dialyzed simultaneously with a new batch cellulose acetate dialyzers promptly developed spectrum symptoms and physical signs including red eyes, hearing loss, tinnitus, bone pain, previously described as eye syndrome. We subsequently injected 4 rabbits an eluate from dialyzer the same or control batch. Six hours following exposure, animals developed, in addition to diffuse eosinophilic infiltration various organs well myopathic changes moderate brain edema.
