摘要: A general overview of the R&D activity in fiber optic sensing developed over last fifteen years Portugal is given. Different topics are addressed, including interferometric, intensity and Bragg grating based sensors, signal processing multiplexing techniques, optical current together with some references to field trials applications. Possible guidelines for present future national on this subject outlined.
