摘要: A new steady state theory of crystallization in the continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR), or mixed-suspension mixed-product-removal (MSMPR), system was developed based on a dynamic balance between growth and nucleation. The present model (but is not) limited to nonseeded systems with homogeneous nucleation, diffusion controlled growth, nucleation previously confirmed for such double-jet batch precipitations. No assumptions size-dependent were needed. predicts correlation average crystal size residence time, solubility, temperature enables calculation supersaturation ratio, maximum rate, ratio critical size, nasent nuclei. that independent reactant addition rate suspension density. nonlinear function time where has positive value at zero (plug-flow condition).
