摘要: Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is the most prevalent form of complex partial seizures with temporal origin electrical abnormality. Studies have shown that recurrent affect all aspects cognitive functioning, including memory, language, praxis, executive functions, and social judgment, among several others. In this article, we will review these impairments along their neuropathological correlates in a comprehensive manner. We see neuropsychological deficits are TLE. Much effort has been laid on memory due to notion brain structures involved TLE play central role consolidating information into memory. It seems damage mesial structure lobe, particularly amygdale hippocampus, main difficulties neurobiological plausibility different Here, cover sub-domains working episodic deficits. This further proceed evaluate evidences function set-shifting other EFs specifically affected as cognition. Finally, critical components language related also found word-finding difficulties. To conclude, affects domains, but etiopathogenesis dysfunctions remain elusive. Further well-designed studies needed for better understanding disorders.
