摘要: Objective. To evaluate the effect of hormone replacement therapy on breast changes in postmenopausal women. Material and methods. The study includes 35 women with natural or surgical menopause who were treated sequential estrogen/progestogen (E/P HRT) during one year. therapeutic program consisted three weeks treatment estradiol valerate 2 mg/day orally, combined ciproterone acetate 1 last 10 days (Climen – Schering) followed by week pause. Before start E/P HRT basic mammography ultrasound examination tissue was performed all patients. At end after 12 cycles, control ultrasonographic done. Results. In short-term 18 patients (51.43%) showed regression finding, 15 (42.86%) stagnation, only (5.71%) progression finding (D=0.27, p<0.01). Conclusion. A clear consensus regarding relationship between cancer risk cannot yet be drawn. Stru~ni ~lanak
