Necessity of management for minor earthquake to improve public acceptance of nuclear energy in South Korea

摘要: Abstract As public acceptance of nuclear energy in Korea worsens due to the Fukushima accident and earthquakes that occurred Gyeongju area near Wolsong power plant (NPP), estimating effects has become more essential for industry. Currently, most countermeasures against are limited large-scale disasters. Minor-scale used be ignored. Even though people do not feel shaking minor incur little damage NPPs, they can change environmental conditions, instance, underground water level conductivity groundwater. This study conducted a questionnaire survey residents living vicinity an NPP determine their perception safety earthquakes.
