摘要: Abstract Sustainability and fishery must be a linked concept when considering the future of natural resources. The environmental impacts global seafood production effects intensive exploitation our seas oceans are indeed an issue under study regulation. To minimize negative fishing activity over environment growing number companies joining Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification. MSC is leading wild-capture fisheries certification program that involves chain custody. increase in certifications confirms processing industry suggest their consideration orientation as key element strategies. In this paper its implications for companies׳ value creation process analyzed. do so, data from 561 Spanish firms retrieved multivariate quantitative analysis deployed. Results show there difference economic performance businesses were MSC-certified those not moderating role size.
