摘要: Eight diazoles were investigated as corrosion inhibitors of mild steel in 1 M hydrochloric acid using gravimetric and polarization techniques. It was found that the inhibition efficiency increased with increase organic substrate concentration, while adsorption followed Frumkin isotherm. A correlation between electronic parameters (induction mesomeric effects substituents, ionization potential values) well those chemical structure (molecular area) molecules their inhibiting properties looked for. The results obtained show a definite interdependence exists but it is not simple straightforward might be expected.
