摘要: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) hold enormous potential for cell-based therapy in the treatment of various diseases, particularly those which currently cannot be cured and result poor outcomes or invasive surgery. Here we present results application autologous, culture-expanded, adipose tissue (AT)-derived MSCs osteoarthritis (OA) 10 canine patients. The stemness isolated has been confirmed by their ability to differentiate into osteo- chondrocytic lineages. clinical effect a single injection ATMSCs symptomatic joints was evaluated veterinarian five disabilities characteristic OA at 30, 60 90 days after treatment, designated as initial evaluation period. Functional all analysed characteristics improved significantly end this compared with baseline. In addition, 5 these patients, an extended follow-up study performed from 1 4 years We detected long-lasting positive effects on two out characteristics. demonstrate that use autologous AT-MSCs is successful approach therapy.
