摘要: This study examined the correlation of electrodiagnostic test results and symptom outcome after carpal tunnel release. After meeting specific inclusion exclusion criteria failing conservative management, 167 patients (227 hands) underwent an open Of 99 hands with a positive electromyographic/nerve conduction velocity study, 93 (93%) had resolved or improved symptoms. finding compares 93% resolution improvement rate in 27 negative postoperative symptoms 101 on which no been performed. Statistical analysis demonstrated significant differences final status release when comparing who positive, negative, preoperative testing. Given clinical for establishing diagnosis syndrome, testing does not appear to correlate symptomatic
